COMMUNITYWORKS GRANTS

COMMUNITYWORKS is an initiative building communities to function more effectively by growing an endowment with a community foundation that: convenes the community; leverages resources; and develops, implements & evaluates community-based solutions.

The Oak Park River Forest Community Foundation has convened members of the community as an advisory committee to articulate community aspirations and develop common themes and a vision.

Community Vision:

Achieve a sustainable community (Oak Park & River Forest), aspiring to --

    • The success of all youth through quality education
    • An environmentally sustainable cvommunity
