Access
to Recreation
This is an opportunity to provide
inclusive recreational opportunities and to build an endowed fund
for future recreational needs . Our Access to Recreation Fund
provided support for recent renovations to Longfellow Park and in
coordination with the Park District of Oak Park and West Suburban
Special Recreation Association produced the first-ever Ability
Awareness Day for day camp participants in Oak Park.

Communityworks
Communityworks is a community driven commitment
supported by the Oak Park-River Forest Community Foundation
engaging the community to identify aspirations and develop ways to
achieve them. It addresses the success of all youth through
quality education; it builds an environmentally healthy
community; and, it develops tomorrow's community leaders
today.
Communityworks also builds endowed support for
local nonprofits through an endowed fund at the Foundation.
Women Leaders in
Philanthropy
This is a select group of women who,
over the years, have contributed significantly to philanthropy in
our community. Becoming a member requires a one-time gift of $5000
or more, or a pledge that can be contributed in installments over
the next five years. Each gift is an investment in our community's
future.
